YOU NEED PROTEIN

Losing weight is not just about less pounds on the scale. Normally when people diet the pounds they lose are 80% muscle mass and 20% body fat. Those quick diets only work temporarily. Kashi, the breakfast cereal, has a great website that will tell you how many grams of protein you need to maintain your muscle mass. So no matter how you cut-back on your food you still need to get your daily amount of protein. It also tells you how much protein different foods have so you can plan your meals. By eating the proper amount of protein you’ll cut those cravings and as you lose weight it will be the fat your losing.
